Once an agricultural estate belonging to a noble Florentine family, the six apartments of La Papessa have been beautifully restored and comfortably furnished, with traditional style and elegance. La Papessa is part of Fattoria Montecchio, an extensive property comprising over 50 acres of private vineyards and olive groves and even housing its own terracotta works.

La Papessa is set on the outskirts, and within walking distance, of the pretty and well-known medieval village of San Donato in Poggio, which has small shops and restaurants.
